Why Act On It exists
Across many communities in Nigeria, families face challenges including limited access to health education, food insecurity, unemployment, inadequate opportunities, and social isolation.
We believe real change happens when we act together.

Work in motion: The Kebbi Project
Kebbi State has the highest reported out-of-school rate in Nigeria, with 67.6% of school-age children out of
school.
The KB Project is Act On It’s first education-focused community project in Kebbi State, beginning with five
girls from GSS Zuru.
We have identified and selected five girls in need and are currently working to support them with school fees,
uniforms, backpacks, notebooks, writing materials, and other basic school supplies.
We are starting with girls because when a girl stays in school, the impact reaches beyond her. It strengthens
her family, her community, and the future she helps shape.
To educate a girl is to protect more than one future.
Why This Matters
Problems do not disappear because people notice them.
They disappear when people decide to act.
Every day, we see things that are wrong — children without support, families struggling quietly, communities
lacking basic resources, people being failed by systems that should protect them.
It is easy to feel bad.
It is easy to talk about it.
It is easy to repost, complain, pray, scroll, and move on.
But compassion without action changes very little.
Act On It exists because care should lead somewhere.
It matters because small action, when done properly, can become real support. A school fee paid. A child kept
in class. A family connected to help. A health conversation started. A community need seen instead of ignored.
We may not be able to fix every problem at once, but we can refuse to let every problem pass us by.
Act On It is built on one simple belief:
If a problem is visible, action should be possible.
And sometimes, the first step is not grand or perfect.
Sometimes, it is simply choosing not to look away.
